We are now open for in-store shopping and offering online and phone ordering for curbside pickup. Our hours are 10am-7pm Mon-Fri and 10am-6pm Sat-Sun.
We have two options for ordering for curbside pickup:
You can call the store directly and place your order over the phone.
Or, you can shop and place your order online (our entire inventory is available). For both phone and online orders, we can typically fill your order immediately.
If desired, we offer $5 delivery in 78610 and 78640.
Our self-serve dog washes are also now open! These are by appointment only, with payment in advance - simply call us to schedule.

Treats are key to training, but they can also be a valuable element of overall nutrition, and are a great way to show your love. From dried fish skins to dental aids to bully sticks to food toppers, we have a wonderful selection of healthy, tasty chews and treats.
Self-Serve Dog Wash
Dogs love to play in the mud and get down and dirty. But did you know that a clean dog is a happier, healthier dog? Overall hygiene is as important as good nutrition. And talk about a treat for the humans! If you've never used a dog wash station, once you do, you'll never want to go back to the bathtub or backyard hose. We have two wash stations and lots of happy dogs and owners!

The stations are first come/first serve. We provide shampoos, brushes, towels, dryer, water proof aprons, and everything you need to do the job! The price is $16 per wash. Your dog will thank you!

Caring for a pet can be a challenge, so we stock our shelves with products that make it easier. We carry great all-natural shampoos, quality brushes, and more. We'll help you keep your pet looking and smelling awesome all the time!
Collars, Harnesses, & Leashes
Every dog needs a quality, long-lasting collar and leash. At Shaggy Dog Market we’ve got exactly what you need. Add to that a great harness for walks or hikes and you're set!
Our Story
It's simple! We love dogs. We love the Buda/Kyle community. We live here and love that it's such a dog friendly place. We realized that dog lovers needed a great go-to store for their pet needs -- without having to drive to Austin or San Marcos or, heaven forbid, a big-box retail store for food, toys, and treats. Shaggy Dog Market is a locally owned, home-grown business.
We want shopping at Shaggy Dog Market to be an experience the whole family can enjoy. We also want to do everything we can to see that your pets get the best and healthiest products available.
